Pocomoke City says it alerted Maryland's Department of Natural Resources and the Worcester County Hazmat Team to the spill at the City Docks around 3 p.m. on March 31.

UPDATE: Officials with the Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company (PCVFC) have provided an update following Tuesday’s diesel leak in the Pocomoke River. At 3:24 p.m., fire crews and supporting agencies were alerted for a sunken sailboat at the dock along Riverside Drive.
