Many reservoirs, including Tunga in Gajanur, Shivamogga taluk, have dried up due to lack of monsoon rain in June. However, in early July, monsoon rains have gradually started to pick up in the Malnad region. As a result, Tunga reservoir in Gajanur, Shivamogga taluk has filled up.
