On the eve of May 17, International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia—a date that commemorates the elimination of homosexuality from the WHO list of mental illnesses in 1990—Euskadi is moving towards equality. More than 450 public and private spaces have already joined LGBTI+ Points Sarea, a network of safe spots promoted by Ortzador LGBTI+ in collaboration with the Basque Government.
