WEST FRANKFORT – Several people were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment following a two-vehicle crash on southbound I-57 two miles south of West Frankfort around 8:10 Friday night. According to Illinois State Police, the southbound lanes were closed minutes later and reopened around 9:45 p.m. No further information is available.
