"A misunderstanding," according to an Italian media outlet, which led to the police erasing of numerous video surveillance images.
The video surveillance at Crans-Montana raises questions. The images of 31 December have not been preserved, despite official requests. Only those of 1 January, between midnight and 6 am, remain.
The bar has not passed mandatory annual fire safety inspections since 2019
