Cranbrook businesses raise money, support for school supplies

A fundraising drive from local businesses produced over 250 backpacks full of school supplies that will be donated to the Southeast Kootenay School District to be distributed anonymously to students at schools in the district. The supplies were ordered by McWhirter Office Solutions as a number of local businesses fundraised over $14,000 towards the initiative.
