Chinese faucets recalled over potential chemical hazards
- On May 14, 2025, a federal safety agency issued a warning about certain faucets manufactured in China and sold on Amazon, cautioning that they may release lead into drinking water.
- This warning follows an enforcement sweep revealing that the faucets, branded CEINOL, KZH, Rainsworth, and VESLA HOME, lack safety certifications and obvious branding.
