CPR Water Tower painting and model donated to Pembroke museum

The Pembroke Heritage Murals Committee has donated the original painting and model of the ‘CPR Water Tower’ to the Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre.    The donation marks the seventh original painting donated by the committee to various public facilities this year.   The actual mural, located on Lake Street, was painted onto the old Canadian Pacific Railroad water tower by John Ellenberger in 2000.    “At the time we were including an origina…
