  • Mounties arrested the student at their home on Saturday and seized electronic devices. The youth attends Edward Milne Community School, located around 107 kilometres southwest of Vancouver.
  • Under the Criminal Code of Canada, conveying threats carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. The youth remains in custody pending a bail hearing, subject to court-ordered publication bans.
  • Police are working with international partners to "keep those individuals who upon instilling fear within their communities accountable," Alex said. The investigation remains ongoing.
