B.C. Mounties Issue Amber Alert After Twin Siblings Taken From Home
Police say the twins may be with Tova Josephine Wood and could be traveling in a red 2015 Dodge Caravan, plate ME538F.
- Mounties in British Columbia issued a provincewide Amber Alert on Monday for three-year-old twins Mathias Wood and Raina Wood, who were abducted from Terrace late Sunday.
- Police suspect the children's mother, Tova Josephine Wood, is responsible for the abduction. The twins were last seen at 2501 Kalum Street in Terrace at 8:51 p.m. on Sunday.
- Wood is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 141 pounds, with light brown hair past her shoulders. Both children have blonde hair and blue eyes.
- Investigators believe Wood may be traveling with the children in a Red 2015 Dodge Caravan bearing British Columbia license plate ME538F.
- Anyone who spots the vehicle, Wood, or the children is urged not to approach and to call 911 immediately. RCMP are asking the public not to approach.
