Cowichan River staircase to benefit locals and tourists alike in Lake Cowichan

The $7,581 staircase gives swimmers and tubers a safer, less muddy river exit and improves access to washrooms and garbage bins.

A new and much less muddy exit from the river at Central Park in Lake Cowichan has been installed just in time for the summer swimming and tubing season.
