AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY, AUG 11 – Police allege the woman worked covertly for China's Public Security Bureau since 2022 and possessed luxury goods including Hermes handbags and multiple properties worth hundreds of thousands.

The Chinese national, who is also an Australian permanent resident, has been denied bail after she was charged with spying on an Australian-based Buddhist group.
