- Surveillance and license-plate checks show a distinct silver SUV tied to McKee's Rockford address and hospital, with the SUV found with fresh scrape marks on Jan. 9.
- Charged with aggravated murder, McKee pleaded not guilty on Jan. 23, is held without bond in Franklin County jail, and faces life with parole eligibility after 32 years if convicted.
- As investigators continue, Columbus police and forensic teams report ongoing evidence collection, a preliminary ballistics match via the national ballistics database, and that the Tepes' two young children were found unharmed.
