County talks procedures for names on veterans memorial monument process
The process for the names of deceased Stephens County veterans getting onto the veterans memorial monument, on the southwest lawn of the Stephens County courthouse, will soon undergo changes. County commissioners, at a workshop in late May, agreed to take over the whole process of getting names installed on the monument, including providing all of the funding and planning the Memorial Day ceremony.
