County receives firefighting grant
Prince Edward County is receiving a grant to help it’s firefighters. During Thursday’s council meeting, council discussed receiving the grant, for a total of $164,450 from the Office of the Fire Marshal Fire Protection Grant. The funding will support investments in the department’s cancer prevention program.
