Coming off back-to-back home wins over Campbell and Elon, College of Charleston headed out on its Northeast road trip to take on Hofstra Thursday night on Long Island, N.Y.

Led by Jlynn Counter's 22 points, the Charleston Cougars defeated the Hofstra Pride 66-64 on Thursday. The Cougars moved to 14-8 with the victory and the Pride dropped to 13-9.

Cougars Control Second Half to Top Pride

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The College of Charleston men's basketball team overcame a first half deficit to defeat the Hofstra Pride 66-64 on Thursday night in Long Island. With the win, the Cougars move to 14-8 overall and 7-2 in CAA play.
