The Ministry of Asylum and Migration must go back to the drawing board. This has been ruled by the Council of State in a case concerning asylum policy for people from Yemen. According to the highest administrative court in the Netherlands, the decision to no longer automatically grant asylum to Yemenis is insufficiently reasoned. The ruling could have major consequences for other asylum applications from the war-torn country.
