Council eyes options for more bike, pedestrian routes in south Arcata

A plan to remedy the lack of biking and walking infrastructure in south Arcata is in the works. Wednesday, the Arcata city council got an update on some possible alternatives. The “South Arcata Multimodal Safety Improvement Plan,” or SAMSIP, has been in development for 18 months after the city got a Caltrans grant to study the issue.
