Grant applications approved by Rome Common Council

Two consolidated funding grant applications were approved by the Rome Common Council at their semi-monthly meeting this week — one for the hiking trail at South James Street and Muck Road, and one for downtown repairs along West Dominick Street.

NBRC Grant Enables Beals Marina Expansion to Proceed

Council approves park grant application, orders election

Discussing park grants and calling a general election for November were the main action items at the Center city council meeting held on Monday, July 14. In park-related matters, the city approved adopting a Parks, Recreation & Open Space Master Plan that will allow the city to have the ability to apply for Parks & Wildlife funds for a five-year period.
