Could this be the iPhone Fold? Leaked 3D renders reveal a surprisingly square design
- Sonny Dickson posted images from 3D CAD renderings on X showing the alleged iPhone Fold, including rear, open, closed views, and exterior sides with a visible external display when folded.
- Dickson's renders follow earlier leaks from Jon Prosser, YouTuber and leaker, and resemble a 3D‑printed model leaked at the end of December, amid Apple suing Prosser over separate leaks.
- According to the renders, the device has a 5.5‑inch external display, a 7.8‑inch internal display with a 4:3 ratio, four cameras, and a camera plateau similar to iPhone Air with two rear cameras.
- Reporters and analysts including Mark Gurman and Ming‑Chi Kuo have said Apple is actively working on a foldable, potentially releasing it in fall 2026, while leaked CAD images fuel expectations despite no confirmation.
- Analysts caution that CAD leaks are often accurate but provisional, and such images typically rise in the April–May mass‑production window, influencing accessory makers and supply chains amid competition from Samsung, Google and OnePlus.
