Costa Rica Amends Its Constitution to Extradite Citizens Suspected of Terrorism and Drug Trafficking
The amendment to article 32 of the Costa Rican Constitution had already been adopted unanimously in the Legislative Assembly on 15 May and reversed the prohibition of handing over nationals to the authorities of third countries that so request. The measure will enter into force once it is published in La Gaceta de Costa Rica.
