Body found in drainage ditch in Greenwood

The Greenwood Police and the Johnson County Coroner's Office are investigating after an unidentified body was found in a drainage ditch on Friday.Johnson County Coroner Mike Pruitt said the body was discovered by a pedestrian walking toward the ditch at Swartz Crossing and State Rd 135.The coroner's office is working to positively identification and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.No further details have been released at this time.__
