Cops for Kids riders leave Kelowna on a 10-day fundraising journey
The 10-day ride includes 26 community stops and has raised more than $6.8 million for children and families across southeastern B.C.
- On Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, a team of 15 law enforcement cyclists and support crew departed Kelowna, launching the 26th annual 10-day Cops for Kids Ride to support children facing medical and traumatic challenges.

- Since the ride's inception, the group has raised more than $6.8 million; participants cycling nearly 1,000 kilometres this year address 290 crisis applications received in 2026.
- So far this year, the organization has covered nearly 2,000 nights at Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver, providing more than $17,500 in fuel gift cards and $10,000 in grocery support.
- Riders will visit 26 communities before returning to Kelowna on Sunday, Sept. 20, embodying Southeast District assistant district officer Rob Pikola's vision of a 'community for kids.
