DCU Stars Jason Momoa & Adria Arjona Team Up with Miles Teller for a New Thriller
The Miles Teller-led thriller is financing with Black Label Media as it heads to Toronto Film Festival sales with a West Texas drug plot.
- Black Label Media added Jason Momoa, Tenoch Huerta, Adria Arjona, and Kiefer Sutherland to the cast of the thriller Copperhead starring Miles Teller, with production set to begin this month.
- In Copperhead, a veteran detective is forced to team with a young federal agent to unravel a conspiracy within an elite task force after an undercover drug deal explodes into violence.
- Director John Swab is helming the project from a script by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott, with financing provided by Black Label Media, Lime Tree Productions, and Milk Boy.
- Heading to the Toronto International Film Festival's new market, TIFF, the project will be represented by Black Bear launching sales, while CAA Media Finance and WME Independent co-rep domestic rights.
- Sutherland brings franchise experience as the actor best known for the series 24, while Huerta is recognized for his role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
