In response to this week’s forecasted heat, the Quinte West cooling centre at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena (8 Couch Cres., Trenton) will be open daily until Tuesday.   The cooling centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.   The municipality’s splash pads are also open daily  from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in both Trenton and Frankford.
