Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, again on Tuesday morning, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported. The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemned the visit, calling it "a flagrant violation of the legal and historical status of the holy site, a desecration of the sanctuary, a dangerous escalation and an unacceptable provocation."
