The Republic of Moldova could create, in the following years, the first strategic fuel reserves in its history. A draft law discussed with the Government provides that the state should constitute emergency stocks of approximately 180 - 200 billion tonnes of petroleum products, enough to cover nearly two months of consumption. The creation of these reserves could cost about 528 million dollars annually, which should be included in the fuel price.
