The long-awaited Hamilton LRT project advanced another step Wednesday as the province invited four teams to submit proposals for work along the planned 14-kilometre route.

Four consortia prequalified to bid on Hamilton LRT

The Ontario government announced this week  it had issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the first package of civil and utility work for the Hamilton Light Rail Transit.
