Contract OK’d for sheriff’s admin duties
By: Al ParkerKALKASKA – County Commissioners have unanimously approved an employment contract to have Sheriff Pat Whiteford also serve as the county’s interim administrator/CFO. The agreement is to last no longer than 12 months and will pay Whiteford a weekly stipend of $750 for “any and all duties performed under the agreement,” which was authorized at the board’s July 16 meeting.
