- At a Gyirong immigration center, 77 pilgrims were present when floods struck, including members of the Isha Foundation spiritual organization. Among those unaccounted for are 22 Americans affiliated with the foundation.
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a high-level meeting Friday to review rescue operations, confirming India has dispatched 47.5 tonnes of emergency supplies to Nepal via two military aircraft since Wednesday night.
