The government has set out to end any message, service or that is not in line with the environmental demands of consumers today. Therefore, the Council of Ministers approved on Tuesday in the first round the Preliminary Draft Sustainable Consumption Law, which takes its first step with the aim of "strengthening the protection of consumers and the environment with measures that promote conscious and responsible consumption".

On Tuesday, the Spanish government launched a bill on sustainable consumption. It includes a ban on advertising fossil fuels, combustion cars, short-haul flights and the resale of concert tickets at higher prices. The draft of the new regulations will still have to be approved by the Congress of Deputies.
