Construction underway on Coalfield Development's Black Diamond project

The West Virginia nonprofit Coalfield Development will give new purpose to a former industrial site in the Westmoreland neighborhood of Huntington, West Virginia, that has sat vacant for years. The Black Diamond Factory at 2923 Park Ave., Huntington, will be re-developed into a mixed-use hub for incubation of employment-based social enterprises, flexible manufacturing and renewable energy initiatives, said Coalfield Development CEO Jacob Hannah.
