After years of preparation and site selection, Slovakia launched construction of a new large national hospital of a civil-military nature in Bratislava on Wednesday, with a public section of 1,270 beds. This was announced by the Minister of Health and Defense, Kamil Šaško and Robert Kaliňák.
The state finances the project from the recovery plan, defense spending, and the public budget.
The cornerstone of the modern terminal device was laid by Ministers Robert Kaliňák and Kamil Šaško, who said it was a fundamental step towards achieving the most modern medical standards in Slovakia.
