Criminal investigators have charged a person from one of the Carinthian municipalities and a person from a company on suspicion of committing a criminal offense of abuse of official position or rights and aiding and abetting in the commission of the crime. According to the investigators, the company failed to carry out the ordered intervention works after the floods in August 2023, despite receiving 375,000 euros (including VAT) in payment.
