Competency evaluation ordered for Clearwater woman charged with killing son

Sedgwick County court records show that during a pretrial conference on August 27, Judge Jeff Syrios ordered Shanna Kay Whitton to undergo an evaluation at COMCARE. Legal proceedings are suspended pending the results of the evaluation.
