Suspects Sought in ‘Targeted and Completely Unacceptable’ BB Gun Attack on Vancouver Island
Police say the suspected shooter was a front passenger in an orange-red sedan with three or more occupants, and the license plate was unclear.
On Monday, May 4, a man was shot in the face with a BB-type gun while walking on the 680-block of Cliffe Avenue, sustaining a minor injury just below the eye.
Police obtained surveillance images showing a four-door orange/red sedan believed to carry three or more occupants, with the suspected shooter in the front passenger seat.
Cst. Monika Terragni of the Comox Valley RCMP described the assault as a "targeted and completely unacceptable act of violence against a vulnerable member of our community."
Investigators are asking anyone with information, dash camera footage, or surveillance video to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and refer to file 2026-6697.
