Comox Valley RCMP says violent offences up 23 per cent in fourth quarter

There was a 23 per cent increase in violent crime in Courtenay during the fourth quarter of the Comox Valley RCMP’s 2025-2026 fiscal year compared to the previous year, says Inspector Scott Mercer.
