Community gathers to support local veterans

The Alabama Veterans Ball Association (AVBA) drew a lively crowd outside Marvin’s in Greenville on Aug. 2, serving up hot dogs, music and community spirit to support veterans.  “It’s going great,” said AVBA Chairman Ray VanCor during the event. “People are eating, laughing and having a great time.  “We’ve sold a ton of hot dogs and a lot of people have given donations. All of the money we raise today will go towards our Veterans Ball in November…
