Disneyland Begins Its 70th Anniversary Celebration in an Uplifting Way
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, JUL 17 – The Disneyland Resort celebrates its 70th anniversary with new attractions, special merchandise, updated shows, and ongoing events through summer 2026, Disney officials said.
- On July 17, 2025, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim unveiled a commemorative guidemap honoring the 70th anniversary, featuring Walt Disney's name and Peter Ellenshaw artwork.
- With celebrations starting in May and extending through next summer, Disneyland Resort released a guidemap featuring Disney Legend Peter Ellenshaw's 1954 artwork.
- The guidemap bears Walt Disney’s name, it incorporates QR code for in-app details and a Cast Member nametag honoring Roy O. Disney.
- Launching today, Disney+ rolled out the Disneyland Resort 70th Collection in 4K, with a sweepstakes open through August 14 at disneyplus.com/perks and a grand prize including a VIP Tour, an $800 Disney Gift Card, and merchandise pack.
