Commanders QB Jayden Daniels practices in limited capacity
Daniels completed a 60-minute walk-through and threw with a brace as the Commanders weigh his status for Sunday, coach Dan Quinn said.
On Wednesday, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels returned to practice in a limited capacity, marking his first on-field action since dislocating his left elbow in Week 2.
After Daniels' injury in Week 2, the Commanders turned to backup Marcus Mariota, who led the team to a 33-31 victory over the defending champion Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Wearing a protective brace, Daniels participated in a 60-minute walk-through in Hertfordshire, England; head coach Dan Quinn said the team will monitor his progress throughout the week before determining his status.
Washington prepares for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with both teams carrying 1-2 records into the game.
If Daniels cannot play, Mariota will start, saying, "The more that we can help support that and give him all the tools that he needs to be successful, that's what our roles are.
