Farmers once were organized into a union in Hall and other counties around Georgia. In 1907, W.N. Edwards was re-elected president and D.N. Jordan vice-president of the Hall County chapter. An Atlanta newspaper called the Hall County Farmers Union one of the strongest in the state.
