Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella reported on Wednesday on the capture and upcoming expulsion from the country of a Russian citizen pointed out by the authorities of alleged espionage activities, contacts with an illegal armed group and financing acts of vandalism.
The alleged Russian spy was captured in Colombia, accused of spying in favor of Russia, of financing vandalism during the protests of 2021 and of having contact with the National Liberation Army (ELN).
