Collinsville Police Chief Andy Brown resigns

COLLINSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Collinsville Police Chief Andy Brown is stepping down. Chief Brown said that he met with Mayor Johnny Traffanstedt and incoming Mayor Jeff Chandler last week to inform them of his decision. According to Chief Brown, stepping aside wasn't an easy decision but it was one that had to be made with the best interest of his family and the City of Collinsville in mind.
