A Massachusetts man is facing charges after officials say he shot his family dog while hunting from the second story of his house. Christopher Lucas, 59, of Cohasset, was attempting to hunt coyotes from a second-floor window in a room above his garage on Aug. 16, 2025, according to the Cohasset Police Department. During this, he struck and killed Lise, a 14-year-old pet dog belonging to his wife that was in the driveway, police said.
