A cup of coffee is something many of us reach for at least once daily, and researchers have long been interested in analyzing the health benefits and risks that come with regular doses of caffeine.
A recent scientific study has shown that regular consumption of coffee may be associated with low body fat, particularly accumulated fat in the abdominal area, as well as high muscle mass, compared with people who consume or do not consume coffee in small quantities.
New research from the University of Oulu in Finland suggests that coffee drinking is associated with lower body fat, more muscle mass and distinct patterns in sex hormone levels, patterns that also differ between men and women.
