On Monday at 2:05 p.m. the National Weather Service released a high surf advisory valid from Wednesday 4 a.m. until Thursday 4 p.m. for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast."Large breaking waves of 22 to 26 feet," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "The threat of sneaker waves increases Tuesday night as the first swells arrive, then widespread dangerous surf is expected Wednesday into Thursday."
