The National Commission for Human Rights (CNDH) called on the authorities of the three government orders to strengthen the prevention and protection of children and adolescents, as well as to ensure effective investigations in cases of sexual violence.The ruling was issued on 12 August, after the case of an 11-year-old girl in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, who was pregnant for approximately five months, allegedly resulting from sexual violence.
