- For its Montreal headquarters, CN donated $1 million in inaugural gifts to four organizations: Le Chaînon, Dans la rue, Mission Old Brewery, and Projets Autochtones du Québec.
- Non-Profits across CN's 30,000-kilometres of track in Canada and the U.S. may apply for funding starting July 1, 2026, said Olivier Chouc, CN senior vice-president and chief legal officer.
- This funding addresses a growing crisis: Quebec government data from April 15, 2025, showed homelessness increased about 20 per cent since 2022, with several regions recording increases of over 50 per cent.
