CME Group has added a new tool to its stock market trading offerings, launching cash-settled, individual stock futures trading on Monday that will be available virtually 24 hours a day. The new products allow investors to take leveraged long or short positions at almost any time of day, CNBC reported.
The Chicago Stock Exchange hopes to attract new traders by allowing them to bet on Wall Street's largest securities through futures contracts. Future "single stock" had not met their audience before the pandemic, but the environment seems more promising.
