The EU Gives the Green Light to Customs Reform Which Will Add Another Management Fee to Packages Outside the EU

The European Parliament plenary on Wednesday gave the green light to the customs reform which will introduce from November onwards a management fee for all packages purchased outside the European Union and which foresees other changes to strengthen control over online vendors and platforms such as Shein and Temu, who will be responsible for ensuring that the products they introduce into the common market comply with EU rules.
